When I took salves to Brazil.There was a great storm and the boat turned over.My companions all die.Only I survived.I was very afraid and felt lonely.When I lay on the earth,I began to think over my life that I have spent---I was born in 1632 and I have a happy childhood and a perfect family.My father told me that if I stayed at home my life would be easy and pleasant.But I wanted to go to sea.That is my dream,and I wanted to realize my dream.Consequently,I ran off to sea.After three times sail,as my father said,the bad things happened.But I believe that I will never regret sailing.
Next day,I swam to the ship.I wanted to find something to help me live longer.I loaded the raft with foods,clothes; tools,guns,and bullets,all packed in wooden boxes.I hunt,grew corn,learnt to make pottery,raised goats,etc.When I read the Bible,I suddenly became religious,thanking God for his fate in which nothing is missing but society.
I lived in this island for about 15 years.Then I discovered native cannibals occasionally visit the island to kill and eat prisoners.I admit that I planed to kill the savages at first.But then I give up the planning.Because I realized that I had no right to do so as the cannibals had not attacked me.And no matter how I thought.I saved a prisoner and named my new companion “Friday”.I taught him English and convert him to Christianity.
