In the upcoming summer vacation, the Student Union of our school is going to initiate an activity about devoting love to the children in poor and disastrous areas. If there is a chance, I would like to become a volunteer to help the children in need. I am willing to stay with those children and play with them, as well as to read for them. I am also going to send some stationeries and books for them and make good friends with them. I believe the children will feel happy with the help from us.

In our daily life there are many kinds of volunteers. As we all know, the problem about environment is getting more and more important. So I want to be a volunteer so that I can do some thing to protect the world.
First of all, I must do well. Saving water and electricity is not only what I need do, but also the thing I always tell others. Don't waste any resourse around us.
Then, I need to go out to call for more attention to the environment on holidy or at weekends. My own effort is not enough, but if every one makes a contribution to protect the environment, our world will become better and better!

I want to be a volunteer for the patients undergoing chemotherapy. I would like to bring hope and compassion to these terminally ill patients. Indeed, being diagnosed with cancer is one of the most difficult times in one's life. On top of that, chemotherapy destroys one's life completely. Its side effect includes simple things from nausea and vomiting to severe neuropathy and anaphylactic reaction. After witnessing all these suffering, I would like to offer my help to those patients, despite the little I can do. As mother Theresa once said, "It is not the magnitude of our actions but the amount of love that is put into them that matters".
