The Mysterious Island
The author of the book:Jules Verne
One day,four people and a dog took a balloon in America.The wind blew strongly,and caught the balloon over the sea.They arrived at a lonely island.The island was very big.They lived in a cave.The 3 man,Nab,Cyrus Smith,Pencroft and the boy,Herbert were good friends.They worked together and always helped each other.They got eggs from some bird and caught fish.They also caught birds with bows.But there was some thing really strange.When they needed some thing,they found a box of thing they need.When Cyrus Smith was ill,some one gave him some good medicine.The four people believed that someone lived in the island and helped them.They wanted to know him.One day,they found a note on their table.The strange man said he wanted to meet them under the cave.The came and knew that it was Captain Nemo,the captain of Nautilus.Nautilus was a great submarine.Captain Nemo told them his story:He was an Indian.He studied in Europe.When the Indians fought British,he fought with them.They didn’t win so he went away with his men and made and traveled by Nautilus.When he was 60,his men were all dead.He lived until now.Later he gave them a lot of money and then he dead.After 2 years,a ship found the four men and took them back to London.
The book is followed “Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Sea”.They are all about Captain Nemo.In this story,I think he is better.He doesn’t hate people and he helped the four men.I think maybe he wants to do some thing good in his last time.
